You know what caught me off guard about Sallam Lux Property? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. This isn’t some stuffy resort trying too hard to impress you. It’s this genuinely comfortable 3-star place tucked along Airport Road in the Kawser area, and honestly, the 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there.

The location is actually pretty clever if you think about it. Yeah, you’re technically in Hurghada village rather than right in the touristy center, but that’s kind of the point. You get this more authentic Egyptian neighborhood vibe without the constant hustle of vendors and tour groups – though you’re still close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to all the main Red Sea action. The airport road sounds like it’d be noisy, but the way the property sits back from the main drag, you barely notice the traffic. I was worried about that initially, especially since I’m a light sleeper, but it turned out to be a non-issue.

What really works here is how the staff seems to actually care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (they had my reservation ready, which… you’d be surprised how often that doesn’t happen), and the rooms have this clean, unfussy feel that somehow manages to be both modern and comfortable without trying to be something they’re not. The air conditioning works properly – crucial in Hurghada’s heat – and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff instead of living out of a suitcase. The beds are surprisingly good too; I slept better than I expected for a mid-range place. You can tell they’ve put thought into the practical stuff that travelers actually need, like decent water pressure in the shower and outlets where you can actually reach them from the bed.

The breakfast spread isn’t huge, but what they do have is fresh and well-prepared. There’s a nice mix of Egyptian and international options, and the coffee is better than the instant stuff you sometimes get at places in this price range. I found myself lingering over breakfast most mornings, partly because the dining area catches this nice morning light, and partly because there’s no rush – the pace here is just more relaxed than what you’d find at the big resort chains down the coast. If you’re planning to explore Hurghada’s markets or take day trips to places like Luxor, this makes for a solid home base where you can actually recharge between adventures instead of feeling like you’re part of some tourist assembly line.

  What could be improved: the only issue i found was there is no wifi – but mobile internet is cheap and there is bluetooth connections in the tv and speaker system 😁

  Everything is wonderful, close to everything. Sitting on the roof at night is enjoyable. I will definitely come again for sure

  It's a nice modern property. Roof studio with open area. It's equipped with most devices you might need during your stay. There is a nice acoustic system indoors and outdoors. It's a really big screen out there. You can watch your favorite programs or even online apps.
  Water was always available over the hour with good pressure. Electricity never went off during our stay.
  There is a nice shared pool from 10:00 a.m till 6:00 p.m.
  What I really liked about this property is that you can exercise or do yoga in the early morning in the open-air with the privacy of home.
  Eventually, the property owner is such a decent person. She followed up with us before our arrival until check-in. She received us even before our check-in time by about 45 minutes.
  It is most suitable for a small family or a couple. It's suitable also if you have a business trip.
  
  What could be improved: What can I say? I guess that due to the nature of the environment in Hurgada, there should be routine periodic termite control. Take care not to keep your food uncovered. The fridge needs to be maintained. Most likely, the hot weather outside is affecting its functionality.
  I can't say this property is a beachfront as vehicles start roaring down the street from the early morning, but it has a nice Seaview. Nearby beaches like white beach, blu spa didn't give us access to the beach. It is allocated for their residents only. I believe that this matter had a negative impact on my vacation plans. I had to drive for not less than 15 minutes to reach a public beach, then search for a parking.
  Despite such property being a nice place, I believe that it is not the perfect choice that matches my needs as a vacationer.
