Hotel Description

You know what surprised me most about Scandic Sea View B612? The name actually undersells it – I mean, yeah, you’ve got the Red Sea right there, but this place has way more personality than your typical Hurghada beach hotel. It’s tucked into this quieter stretch where you’re not dodging tour groups every five minutes, but you’re still close enough to walk to the main strip when you want some action.

The thing is, most 3-star places in Egypt… well, let’s just say your expectations need some adjusting. But honestly, this one punches above its weight. The rooms are clean (like, actually clean, not Egyptian-resort-clean), and whoever designed the place clearly understood that people come to Hurghada to look at water, not stare at concrete walls. My room had this little balcony where I could watch the fishing boats head out in the morning with my coffee – such a simple thing, but it made all the difference. The AC works properly too, which if you’ve spent any time in Egypt during summer, you know that’s not a given. I was there in March and the weather was perfect, but I could tell this place would be a lifesaver during the brutal summer months.

What really won me over was the staff – they’ve got this laid-back vibe that feels authentic, not rehearsed. The guy at reception (I think his name was Ahmed?) actually gave me proper directions to the local fish market instead of just pointing me toward the tourist traps. And the breakfast… look, it’s not going to win any awards, but there’s fresh bread, decent coffee, and they make a mean ful medames if you’re feeling adventurous. The whole place has this relaxed energy where you can just exist without constantly being sold excursions or hassled about tips. Sure, the Wi-Fi gets spotty in the evenings when everyone’s online, and the hot water takes a minute to kick in, but these are minor gripes. For what you pay, especially with that 9.1 rating (which honestly seems about right), you’re getting a solid base for exploring Hurghada without the resort bubble feeling. It’s the kind of place where you actually end up talking to other travelers at breakfast instead of everyone hiding behind their phones.

  Easy communication with host. We were picked up at the airport and shown the apartment and facilities which was very helpful. Powerful air conditioners. Easy to get taxis and food across the street. View of the sea and pool from the balcony.
  
  What could be improved: The balcony overlooks an unfinished tower block of condos or apartments which is fine but odd. Maybe that will change soon. Have to take a taxi in the location but it is inexpensive.

  We have had a Nice stay, the place was tidy and the perfect location for us, the beach is just to take the elivator down and there you go, there is also a gym, and 3 pools one of them is for children 👍👍.

  This apartment was clean, well equipped, excellent shower hot water and very good wifi. The swimming pool and private beach were accessed from the basement. Ahmed who owns the apartment was very helpful and can pick you up from airport.

  What could be improved: Not a big problem but good to know that the hotel complex is partly still in construction. You rent an apartment from a private person so no option for hotel breakfast or such.

  We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, and the owner was incredibly accommodating. We arrived in Hurghada early, and they arranged a place for us without any hassle. The check-in and check-out process was swift and smooth. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute drive from the marina and the center, which was very convenient for us. Highly recommend!

  Jolie appartement dans un nouveau resort avec 3 piscines et une plage privée. L'appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Le propriétaire est serviable et le quartier est bien avec des restaurants et des supermarchés à proximité.

  Tenía planeado irme al Cairo el 1 de mayo y terminé quedandome 2 días más, el apartamento es muy limpio, bonito, cuenta con todo lo que necesitas para tu estadía, también es bastante silencioso.
  
  La playa privada tiene camastros, colchonetas, sombrillas y barreras. El mar tiene un nivel adecuado para niños y adultos, pero también puedes tomar el muelle y nadar un poco hacia un lugar más profundo (no supera la 2 metros y el mar es súper tranquilo.
  
  Para rematar cuando llegué en la nevera me esperaba una ensalada de frutas súper fresca
  
  Tiene cerca farmacias, mercados y se encuentran cerca a una calle principal
  
  Las fotos no le hacen justicia, es mucho mejor (espero el afitrion tome mejores fotos de la playa y el apartamento)
  
  What could be improved: Me voy a esforzar por buscar algo negativo….. No sé… Me cobraron un poco más por las noches adicionales teniendo en cuenta el precio de Booking con descuento XD….. El primer piso está en construcción (no afecta en nada tu estadía)… Se fue el agua el primer día por 2 horas jajaja la verdad no sé más
