You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Sea View Aldau Heights when I first pulled up to the Aldau Village area – honestly, the name made it sound a bit pretentious for a 3-star spot. But here’s the thing about this place: it actually delivers on that sea view promise, and in Hurghada, that’s half the battle won right there. The hotel sits in a sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action but not drowning in the chaos of the main tourist strip. I mean, you’re literally next to the Aldau Village Mall, which is super handy when you need to grab something quick or just want to wander around with some AC.

The rooms are… well, they’re what you’d expect from a solid 3-star, but the staff really makes the difference here. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – no endless waiting around or confusing paperwork drama that you sometimes get in resort towns. What I really appreciated was how clean everything felt, and the sea-facing rooms (definitely worth the extra cost if you can swing it) give you these gorgeous morning views over the Red Sea. You can actually see the boats heading out for diving trips, which gets you excited for your own underwater adventures. The Wi-Fi works pretty well too, which honestly surprised me – I’ve stayed at fancier places in Egypt where internet was basically nonexistent.

Here’s what locals won’t tell you but I will: this area of Hurghada is way more chill than the crazy busy parts closer to the old town. You can actually walk around without being hassled every five minutes, and there are some decent restaurants within walking distance that aren’t total tourist traps. The hotel’s location means you’re maybe 15 minutes from the marina if you want to book diving or snorkeling trips, but you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds that come with being right in the thick of things. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which matters if you’re planning to rent a car and explore beyond Hurghada. The only minor thing is that it can get a bit quiet in the evenings – not necessarily bad, just depends what you’re looking for. If you want party central, this isn’t it. But if you want a decent base where you can actually relax between activities and not feel like you’re constantly fighting crowds, Sea View Aldau Heights hits that sweet spot pretty well.

  De ligging, kortbij het centrum. Het appartement ligt op de 6e verdieping waardoor je een mooi uitzicht op de stad en zee hebt.
  
  What could be improved: Iets minder goed aan de accommodatie vond ik de airco die veel lawaai maakte.
