The thing about this studio is that it actually has a proper sea view – not one of those “if you crane your neck and squint” situations you get at some places. From the balcony, you’re looking straight out at the Red Sea, and honestly, that’s worth its weight in gold here. The space itself is compact but smartly laid out, sort of like a well-designed city apartment. You’ve got everything you need without feeling cramped, and the kitchenette is actually functional (I mean, you can make proper coffee, not just instant). The AC works reliably too, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate during those blazing summer months when Hurghada hits 40°C and doesn’t let up.

What I really appreciate about staying here is the location within the Scandic complex. It’s far enough from the main hotel buzz that you don’t get the pool party noise at all hours, but you’re still close enough to walk over if you want to grab a drink or use their facilities. The complex has decent security, and parking is straightforward – no circling around looking for a spot like you get in some parts of Hurghada. You’re also well-positioned for getting around the city; the local microbus routes run regularly along the main road, and it’s an easy taxi ride to the marina area or downtown souks. The nearby Senzo Mall is actually pretty convenient for groceries and basics without the tourist markup you get closer to the resort strips.

The owner clearly knows what travelers actually want – there’s proper blackout curtains (lifesaver for afternoon naps), decent water pressure in the shower, and the Wi-Fi actually reaches the bedroom, not just the living area. Little things, but they add up. The building itself is quiet; most of the other units seem to be long-term residents rather than party-going tourists, so you get your sleep. I’ve stayed here during both peak season and quieter months, and it maintains that peaceful vibe year-round. The only minor thing is that the elevator can be a bit slow during busy periods, but honestly, it’s just four floors – not exactly a hike. If you’re looking for a genuine local experience in Hurghada without the resort bubble feeling, but still want comfort and that killer sea view, this studio hits the sweet spot. It’s the kind of place you’d actually want to return to, which is rarer than you’d think in tourist-heavy areas like this.
