Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Seaduction Spacious Stay – the name alone had me a bit skeptical, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away in the Ancient Sands area of El Gouna, which if you’ve never been to this part of the Red Sea coast, is basically Egypt’s version of a planned resort town, but done right. The Egyptians built El Gouna from scratch in the ’90s with these gorgeous lagoons and Nubian-style architecture, and it feels way more authentic than some of the massive resort complexes you’ll find closer to Hurghada proper.

What really got me about Seaduction is how they nailed the whole “spacious” thing they’re promising in the name. I mean, you walk into these rooms and there’s actually space to spread out your stuff – and I’m someone who tends to explode my suitcase everywhere within five minutes of arriving. The apartments (because that’s really what they are) have proper kitchens, which is clutch if you want to grab some of that amazing Egyptian produce from the local markets and actually do something with it. The balconies are generous too, and depending on which way you’re facing, you’ll catch either lagoon views or glimpses of the desert rolling away toward the mountains. There’s something about that contrast – the engineered paradise of El Gouna against the raw Sahara backdrop – that just works.

The staff here gets it, too. Check-in was smooth, parking’s easy (which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with rental cars in Egypt), and they’re genuinely helpful with local recommendations. They pointed me toward this little coffee spot about ten minutes’ walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and honestly, it became my morning routine. El Gouna can get pretty busy during European winter months when everyone’s escaping the cold, but even then, this place maintains a calm vibe. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re planning to spend all your time on the beach, you’ll want to factor in about a 15-minute walk to the main beach areas – though personally, I loved the excuse to wander through the town’s winding streets with their colorful buildings and random art installations. It’s a 3-star place that punches above its weight, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want – somewhere comfortable and well-run without all the fuss of a big resort, where you can actually experience a bit of what makes this corner of Egypt special.

  The unit is beautiful with plenty of space and well serviced in terms of furniture and amenities. Waking up to the private pool, then the golf fields and ponds is priceless.. It is situated in the Ancient Sands of Gouna which is one of the best areas, close to downtown and to the marina.
  
  Hosts are very responsive and quickly accommodated to our requests for extending extra days, place was very clean.
  
  What could be improved: Some of the tiles of the floor are coming apart and need fixing, internet speed was slow. But nothing major.
