Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of resorts along the Red Sea coast, but Serenity Sky Arc in Sahl Hasheesh honestly caught me off guard. You know that stretch about 20 kilometers south of Hurghada where the development suddenly gets more upscale? That’s exactly where this place sits, and I mean – the first thing that hits you when you walk into the lobby is this massive skylight that somehow makes the whole space feel like it’s floating. The architecture is sort of modern-meets-Arabic, but not in that cheesy way some resorts try to pull off.

What really sets this place apart from the usual Hurghada scene is the attention to detail. The staff actually remembers your name after day one (and I’m terrible with names myself, so I appreciate when others aren’t). The pools – there are three of them – have this infinity edge thing going on that frames the Red Sea perfectly, especially during sunset when the water turns that incredible orange-pink color. I spent most afternoons on the main pool deck with a book, and honestly, the only sounds you hear are gentle waves and maybe some distant conversation from the beach bar. It’s that kind of peaceful that makes you forget you’re checking work emails every five minutes back home.

The beach itself is what sealed the deal for me though. Sahl Hasheesh Bay has some of the clearest water I’ve seen along this coast – you can literally see tropical fish swimming around the coral from the shoreline. The resort’s stretch is pristine, with those comfortable daybeds that don’t leave weird tan lines, and the beach service is spot-on without being pushy. I actually tried snorkeling right off their beach (they provide gear) and saw more marine life in an hour than during a full-day boat trip I took from Hurghada marina last year. The restaurants surprised me too – especially the seafood place overlooking the water where they somehow manage to prepare fresh catch that doesn’t taste like every other resort buffet. Sure, you’re paying premium prices, but the food actually justifies it. Even the coffee at breakfast was properly strong, which… if you’re like me and need real caffeine to function, you’ll understand why that matters. The rooms have these floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sea, and waking up to that view never got old during my week there. Just be prepared for complete relaxation – there’s not much nightlife action if that’s what you’re after, but honestly, that’s exactly what made this place perfect.

  We had an incredible time at the newly opened Serenity Sky Arc Hotel! Despite opening just a week before our arrival, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The service was impeccable, and the team handled everything with such warmth and professionalism.
  🍴 The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every meal was fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor—easily one of the best culinary experiences we've had at a resort.
  🌊 But the real star? The snorkeling. Just steps from the beach, the reef is full of colorful fish, corals, and even turtles. The water was crystal clear, and every outing felt like diving into a hidden paradise.
  Highly recommend for anyone looking for luxury, relaxation, and unforgettable underwater adventures!

  Посетили отель Серенити в июне 2025 года. Остались под приятным впечатлением. Отель совсем новый, только открылся, очень просторный, большие холлы и рестораны с высокими потолками создают приятное ощущение. Порадовал стильный дизайн. Вся мебель в номерах и общих зонах удобная, красивая и качественная. Интерьеры продуманны , все гармонично и очень отличается от обычного Египта.
  Персонал очень старается. Постоянно интересуются всё ли нравиться.))
  На территории нет детских зон и горок. Что подразумевает более спокойный отдых без детей.
  До самой Хургады можно добраться достаточно быстро. Накупить там сувениров и посетить экскурсию. Но можно и совсем не вылезать из отеля. А лежать тюленьчиком на чистом пляже. Терасса с видом на бассейн за которым море очень атмосферная. В баре круглосуточно вкуснейший манговый сок и прекрасный кофе. Рекомендую.
