Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Serry Beach Resort – I mean, you’ve seen one Red Sea resort, you’ve sort of seen them all, right? But this place actually surprised me in ways that matter. The location in Hurghada’s tourist village area puts you right where you want to be without the chaos of downtown, and you can walk to those little local cafes that serve proper Egyptian coffee (the kind that’ll wake you up from three blocks away).

What really got me was how they’ve managed to feel upscale without being stuffy about it. The lobby has this airy thing going on – lots of marble and those traditional mashrabiya screens that actually help with the afternoon heat. Check-in was smooth, no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation.” The staff knows their stuff too, like when I asked about snorkeling spots, the concierge didn’t just hand me a brochure – he told me exactly which part of the house reef has the best coral (it’s the left side near the jetty, by the way) and what time to go when the day-trippers haven’t arrived yet. The rooms are what you’d expect from a proper five-star – clean lines, decent AC that doesn’t sound like a freight train, and those little touches like turndown service that make you feel like you’re actually on vacation instead of just somewhere else to sleep.

But here’s the thing that’ll make or break your stay: the beach setup is genuinely good. They’ve got enough loungers that you’re not doing the 6 AM towel sprint, and the water entry is sandy, not those awful rocky patches that shred your feet. I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching the dive boats head out toward the outer reefs – there’s something oddly peaceful about Hurghada before it fully wakes up. The pools are fine if you’re into that, though honestly, why would you be in a pool when the Red Sea is right there? Food-wise, they know what they’re doing – the breakfast buffet hits all the marks without being overwhelming, and their seafood dinner actually tastes like it came from the sea that’s literally fifty meters away. Evening entertainment happens, but it’s not the aggressive resort animation that makes you want to hide in your room. You know what really sold me though? The little details – like how they have proper beach towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, and the housekeeping team that doesn’t rearrange your entire suitcase when they clean. It’s those small things that make the difference between a good stay and actually wanting to come back.

  Second time staying at this property. Stayed in a Two-bedroom Chalet. Room was spacious and clean and located next to the kids pool which was perfect. Food was good with good options throughout the day, including buffet and other restaurants at the resort. In a great location with everything close by. Staff were friendly and helpful and helped with our transfer to Sharm el Sheikh and also gave us packed lunch boxes for our trip!
  Kids pool was great with staff available always!
  
  What could be improved: Sokar Seafood restaurant could have more options on the menu, for children especially, otherwise food was good

  This hotel is amazing! I have never seen anything like this, very helpful and kind staff, food is exceptional and always fresh, facilities are impeccable. There is always some form of entertainment to enjoy throughout your stay and even if these activities are not for you, there are several areas for unforgettable relaxation. It was without a doubt worth every penny! Me and my family will certainly be returning in the near future!

  Wow just wow. One of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever been to. There was also this nice atmosphere created by not being overcrowded or a mega-resort. The beach span is exactly enough room to space out and everyone has a beach bed. Rooms were HUGE with a lot of storage, no matter what level of room was chosen. The staff, the food, the overall ambiance was all 10/10. I’m well traveled and this really took the cake for a lovely experience in hurghada with my friend.

  We (a couple) were looking for a week of relaxation with all-inclusive service in March, which we definitely found at Serry Beach Resort! The almost brand new (2 years old), very spacious and open-plan resort invites you to relax. A large pool and a private beach area are the ideal setting for relaxing. With the all-inclusive service in the entire hotel area and on the beach, the hotel offers everything you could wish for during such a stay.
  Our room was very nice, very spacious and had a balcony. The room service was very good. The same applies to all the staff in the hotel. Everyone was very friendly, very attentive and dealt with our requests professionally. You can eat in the buffet restaurant and – if you book in advance – in the four specific restaurants. The food is excellent everywhere and the staff are very courteous. The buffet restaurant offers a very wide range of dishes, all of which are top quality and certainly leave nothing to be desired.
  
  What could be improved: At check-in and in the hotel's own app, you should indicate any intolerances/allergies. It would be in keeping with the 5-star standard of the hotel if these were automatically passed on to the restaurants and taken into account. It would also be helpful in the buffet restaurant if the dishes were labelled with information about any ingredients that may be intolerable (e.g. nuts etc.). In the dessert area, it would also be desirable for the individual – excellent – dishes to be labelled.
  
  Due to the open concept of the resort, you can hear music (from tape or live from the rooftop bar) from 9am until approx. 10/23pm, except on the beach. Especially if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is not quite right. On the beach, however, it is very quiet!

  Service was exceptional – all the staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to help. A nice welcome and lovely room with great facilities.
  Loved the Rooftop with fun entertainment and delicious mezza food. We also dined in the Kief restaurant – which again was exceptional. The main Food Hall restaurant was buffet on another level!!
  
  What could be improved: Hot water ran low at about 6pm – might have just been the amount of people (Hotel was full).

  Our first 5* hotel in our lives. What a way to enter this world than with Serry Beach Resort? I assure you, we were just like you, wondering if this place was worth all the hype it meets on social medias. We weren’t disappointed and I will even say, it exceeded the heights we were hoping for.
  A special thanks to Emad who never failed to smile once when I looked at him, and to Sara also. She was our French referent here and our candle in the dark when we felt confused or overwhelmed at times by the scale of this hotel.
  I’m not used to say this because I happen to enjoy traveling a lot and above all discover new places, but if I had to chose only one place I had to go back in my life, it would be there.

  We had an incredible experience at Serry Beach Resort! After a disappointing stay at another hotel during our trip, we were eager to see if Serry lived up to the amazing reviews—and it exceeded all our expectations.
  
  From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and offers so much to do that we were never left searching for entertainment. The food hall had a fantastic variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes.
  
  Our room was stunning, overlooking the pool with a breathtaking beach view in the background. As frequent travelers, we can confidently say this is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We only wish we had booked a longer stay, but one thing is for sure—we will be returning to Hurghada just to stay at Serry Beach Resort again. Highly recommended! ⭐️
