You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – I mean, “Sheraton Plaza house” had me expecting some massive resort complex, but it’s honestly more like a solid apartment-style setup that happens to work really well for travelers. The studio 428 part is just the unit number, which I didn’t realize until I got there and felt slightly confused for about ten minutes.

The location on Sheraton Road is actually pretty sweet though. You’re close enough to New Marina that you can walk there without breaking a sweat (maybe 8-10 minutes if you’re not rushing), and honestly, that’s where a lot of the action happens anyway – the restaurants, the evening stroll scene, all that. The beaches are right there too, which is obviously why you’re in Hurghada in the first place. I spent most mornings walking down to the water before it got too crowded, and you’ll probably end up doing the same thing. The whole area gets this nice breeze coming off the Red Sea that makes even the hot afternoons bearable if you’re just hanging around.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – you get some street noise during the day (it’s Egypt, there’s always some honking), but once evening settles in, it’s actually pretty peaceful. The studio itself is… well, it’s a studio. Clean, functional, has what you need. The air conditioning works properly, which honestly matters more than anything fancy when you’re dealing with Hurghada heat. I’d say the 7.7 rating makes sense – it’s not going to blow you away, but there’s nothing really wrong with it either. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring or diving anyway.

The check-in was straightforward, no drama there. Parking situation is fine if you’re renting a car, though you probably don’t need one since everything’s walkable or a cheap taxi ride away. One thing I noticed – and this might just be me being picky – is that the WiFi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s online, but it’s reliable enough for checking messages and uploading photos. The whole setup feels more like staying in someone’s apartment than a traditional hotel, which some people love and others might find a bit impersonal. I actually liked it because you get more space than a regular hotel room for the money, and there’s something nice about having a little kitchen area even if you end up eating out most of the time anyway.

  Be Aware it is in a really Loud area but central.
