You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental in Soma Bay – I mean, most of these places promise the world and deliver basic furniture with questionable Wi-Fi. But honestly, the Soma Bay Ambiance completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. Walking into this place feels less like checking into a generic vacation rental and more like staying at a friend’s really well-appointed second home. The apartment sits right in the Soma Breeze complex, and I have to say, whoever designed this knew what they were doing – you get that hotel-level comfort without feeling like you’re living in a sterile box. The location is actually brilliant if you know the area. Being right next to The Breakers means you’re literally a two-minute walk from some of the best dining and nightlife in Soma Bay, but the apartment itself is positioned just far enough back that you don’t get the noise bleeding through at night (trust me, I’m a light sleeper and this matters). The Hurghada-Safaga Road can get pretty busy during the day, but once you’re inside the complex, it’s surprisingly peaceful.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how it handles the little things that most rentals completely botch. The air conditioning actually works properly – and I mean properly, not that sad wheeze you get in half the places around here. The kitchen is set up like someone who actually cooks uses it, with decent knives and pans that aren’t completely warped. The wifi is solid enough for video calls (I had to work a few mornings, unfortunately), and there’s this great little balcony where you can have your coffee and actually see a slice of the Red Sea without craning your neck. The whole setup feels thoughtful, you know? Like they considered what people actually need rather than just cramming in the cheapest furniture possible. I stayed there during shoulder season in late October, and while Soma Bay can feel a bit sleepy compared to central Hurghada, this apartment gives you easy access to the marina and the golf course if that’s your thing. The building’s security is low-key but solid – there’s always someone at the front desk, and they actually know what’s going on around the area.

Honestly, if you’re looking for that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment freedom, this place nails it. The 9.5 rating isn’t just inflated reviews from people’s relatives – it’s genuinely earned. You’re getting four-star comfort without the four-star attitude, and in Soma Bay, that’s actually pretty rare. The check-in was smooth (they met me right at the apartment), parking is included and actually convenient, and when my shower head got a bit loose on day three, they had someone fix it within an hour. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Egypt, but it’s doing exactly what it sets out to do really, really well. Perfect for couples who want to explore the Red Sea diving scene, or honestly anyone who appreciates staying somewhere that feels like home rather than just another hotel room.

  I love this apartment so much! The design, the location, also it is very close to the beach, just walking distance!
  
  The first day i arrived, Nayel told me there will be Full moon and he advised me to enjoy it from his sofa and he said if im lucky i also can see fox! I did as he said and i really enjoyed it! It was so beautiful! And the next day i saw the fox passing by!!
  
  Everyday i walk to the beach and sit on my spot : there is a bench under the tree with breathtaking view!

  The place was amazing and spacious. Mr. Ahmed (the host) was so kind and quick responer to any thing i need. The place was safe and guarded by securit, new modern furniture & appliances . Direct to the pool and i enjoyed to access it at night. Also the weather was so beautiful and better than hurghada. Master bed room has a great and wide bed. All what you need existing in the chalet. I recommend the place to any one want to relax and i would like to thank Mr. Ahmed for his kind and his effort to make my experience memorable and i look forward to returning soon.

  Very spacious apartment in a quiet and safe environment. Nice kitchen and space to sit outside. Large swimming pool. 15min walk to Jetty. Free shuttle cart from Jetty to for example the supermarket.
