Okay, so I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Hurghada over the years, and honestly? The Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle totally caught me off guard – in the best possible way. You know how most “adults only” hotels can feel a bit stuffy or trying too hard? This one actually gets it right. The moment you walk into that lobby, there’s this immediate sense of calm that washes over you. I mean, it’s right there on Youssef Afifi Road in El Mamsha El Seyahi, which – if you know Hurghada at all – puts you in the sweet spot where you’re close to everything but not drowning in the chaos of the main tourist strips.

What really struck me was how they’ve managed to create this sophisticated vibe without being pretentious about it. The design feels genuinely modern and clean (hence the “Pure” in the name, I guess), but there’s warmth to it too. The staff actually remembers your name after day one, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to unwind. And speaking of unwinding – the pool area becomes this incredible sanctuary, especially in the late afternoon when the light hits just right and you can hear the Red Sea in the distance. I spent way too many hours there with a book, honestly. The food surprised me too; I was expecting typical hotel fare, but their evening dining actually has some creativity to it. There’s this one dish with local spices that I’m still thinking about months later.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important if you’re planning a trip – the location means you’re about a 15-minute walk to the main El Mamsha promenade if you want to explore the shops and restaurants there. Some people might see that as a downside, but I loved having that buffer. You get the energy of Hurghada when you want it, but you can retreat to this peaceful bubble when you don’t. The beach access is solid too, though it gets busy around midday (but then again, what beach in Hurghada doesn’t?). Check-in was surprisingly smooth – no endless waiting around or paperwork drama. And here’s a random detail that mattered more than I expected: the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, even by the pool, which saved me when I needed to handle some work stuff without hiking back to my room. Look, if you’re looking for a place where you can genuinely relax without feeling like you’re missing out on the Hurghada experience, this place hits that balance perfectly.

  The staff was great, respectful and welcoming.
  The food was delicious and diverse. We enjoyed many activities and shows in the hotel.

  The food variety is excellent throughout the resort, with Alex Restaurant being our absolute favorite. Under Hanna Gerges' outstanding leadership, the service is truly exceptional. The entire staff team delivers awesome, attentive service that makes every moment special.

  The best hotel ever and most welcoming staff especially Amen in pool bar, Alaa in gourmet restaurant and the head cheif Assem , Mahmoud atta and Mary bbawy in reception and Mr. Sobhy manager in the pool bar. All staff work with the most welcoming and professional manner.
  Good location and comfortable room and tasty food. I enjoyed my stay and the hotel.
  Many activities you can do, and quick reponse 24 hours if i order anything.
