Being part of the Turtles Beach Resort complex means you get access to their facilities, including the main restaurant and beach services. The snorkeling right off the beach is actually pretty decent — I spotted several sea turtles (hence the name, I suppose) and the coral formations are still in good shape compared to some of the more heavily trafficked areas. What I found interesting is that most guests seemed to be couples, and after spending a few days there, I totally get why this spot works so well for romantic getaways.

Look, this isn’t a five-star resort experience with all the bells and whistles, but that’s actually part of its charm. You get the independence of having your own space with the convenience of resort amenities when you want them. The whole vibe is relaxed and unpretentious — perfect if you’re the type who wants to explore Hurghada at your own pace rather than being locked into a structured resort schedule. Plus, having that kitchen means you can save money on meals and actually experience some of the incredible local produce and seafood that you’d miss if you were stuck with hotel dining only.
