You know what struck me first about this little studio? The fact that it’s tucked away on the ground floor of El-Nasr – and honestly, that’s actually a blessing when you’re hauling luggage around in Hurghada’s heat. I mean, no elevator drama, no schlepping bags up three flights when the power cuts out (which, let’s be real, happens sometimes in this part of Egypt).

The pool view is the real deal here, not some glimpse of water through a construction crane like you get at some places. I spent most mornings with my coffee just watching the early swimmers – there’s something oddly peaceful about it before the day gets crazy hot. The studio itself is pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, but it’s got that lived-in feel that makes you settle in quickly. The air conditioning actually works (trust me, I’ve stayed places where it doesn’t), and the bathroom has decent water pressure, which is honestly half the battle in Egyptian hotels sometimes. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays – even with the pool right there, the ground floor position means you’re not dealing with footsteps above you at all hours.

Location-wise, you’re in a sweet spot that most tourists don’t really figure out. El-Nasr puts you close enough to the marina area that you can walk there when it cools down in the evening, but far enough from the main hotel strip that you’re not dealing with tour buses rumbling past at 6 AM. There’s a little local market about ten minutes away where you can grab actual Egyptian prices on water and snacks – the hotel staff will point you in the right direction, and they’re genuinely helpful without being pushy about it. The whole area feels more residential, which I actually prefer to those massive resort complexes where everything feels a bit artificial. Parking isn’t an issue if you rent a car, though honestly, taxis are so cheap here that I wouldn’t bother unless you’re planning day trips to Luxor or something. The beach access is decent too – not the pristine private beaches of the five-star places, but the public stretches nearby are totally fine for swimming and way less crowded. Perfect rating might seem generous for a three-star place, but sometimes it’s about expectations, you know? This isn’t trying to be the Four Seasons, it’s just a solid, honest place to crash with a nice view and reasonable comfort.
