You know what surprised me most about this place? The fact that it’s tucked away in Mangroovy but still feels like you’ve got your own private slice of El Gouna. I mean, when you’re looking at a 9.9 rating, you’re either dealing with complete fabrication or something genuinely special – and honestly, this leans hard toward the latter.

The apartment itself is spacious in that way that makes you forget you’re technically staying in a 3-star setup. Two bedrooms that actually fit real furniture (not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re playing Tetris with your suitcase), and the kitchen is properly equipped – I’m talking full-size fridge, decent stovetop, the works. What really got me though was stepping out onto that balcony in the morning. You’ve got this view that takes in the lagoons, and if you time it right around sunrise, the water just catches the light in this incredible way. The air conditioning works well too, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate when the afternoon heat kicks in around here.

The beach and pool access is where this place really shines, and it’s not just marketing speak. The beach they give you access to is actually one of the better stretches in El Gouna, with that fine sand that doesn’t stick to everything you own. Water’s clear enough that you can see your feet, and the entry is gradual – perfect if you’re not a strong swimmer or traveling with kids. Pool area gets busy around mid-morning when the day-trippers show up, but early evening? It’s practically yours. I spent most of my time there just after sunset, when the temperature drops and you can actually hear the water lapping instead of competing with pool parties.

Location-wise, you’re about a 10-minute walk from Abu Tig Marina, which is where you’ll want to head for dinner anyway. The little golf cart shuttles run pretty regularly if you don’t feel like walking in the heat, and parking is actually available if you rent a car – something that’s not always guaranteed in El Gouna’s busier sections. The Mangroovy area itself is quieter than downtown El Gouna, which means you’ll sleep better but still have access to everything when you want it.

Look, I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t luxury resort territory, and the building itself looks pretty standard from the outside. But the combination of space, location, and those amenities at this price point? It’s kind of hard to beat. The management is responsive (they sorted out a minor WiFi issue within an hour), and check-in was smooth even though we arrived pretty late. If you’re the type who needs room service and daily housekeeping, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a proper base for exploring El Gouna without paying resort prices, and you actually want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than a corporate hotel chain, this place delivers. Just book early – that 9.9 rating isn’t exactly a secret anymore.

  The apartment was well furnished overlooking the pool. It was 10 minutes away from the beach. This trip for us was one if not the best really..the beach was amazing the pool, there are a lot of things inside the compound, Tabali, pharmacy, hair dresser, dry clean, a super market.
  The host was a great person as well..he was always responsive and for sure we will come back again.

  The location is perfect, steps to Fanadir, and a 10-minute walk to Marina Abo Tig.
  Direct on the Open Sea, not the lagoons, which is kind of limited in Gouna.

  The apartment is very comfy and it has all the needed amenities. Interior was great. Rooms were spacious. Fully equipped kitchen. It felt like home. Jean, the host, was very helpful and give us all the tips needed to make our life easier. He was very hospitable and very responsive too. I will definitely come back.
