This little spot in El Gouna actually delivers, and I mean that in the best way possible. The location in Shedwan is perfect if you know El Gouna at all – you’re close enough to walk to the marina area when you want some action, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the late-night party crowd stumbling around. The ground floor setup is actually genius here because you can literally step out and you’re maybe thirty seconds from the pool area. No dragging beach bags up three flights of stairs or waiting for elevators full of sandy kids.

What really got me was the lagoon access situation – and this is where knowing El Gouna helps. A lot of places claim lagoon access, but they mean you can see it from your window if you crane your neck. This place actually backs up to one of the quieter lagoon channels, the kind where you can paddleboard in the morning without dodging jet skis and party boats. The water’s that incredible turquoise color that looks fake in photos but hits different when you’re actually floating in it. I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching the ibis and herons do their thing before the day got too hot. The pool area gets busy around midday (families with kids, you know how it is), but early morning and late afternoon it’s pretty peaceful. There’s this little outdoor shower setup that sounds basic but honestly, rinsing off the salt water under the desert sky hits different than being stuck in some tiny bathroom.

The apartment itself is what I’d call thoughtfully simple – clean lines, decent air conditioning that actually works (crucial in Hurghada heat), and a kitchen setup that’s perfect for making breakfast or keeping drinks cold. The bed situation is comfortable, though the walls aren’t super thick, so you might hear your neighbors if they’re the chatty type. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for Egypt – the property manager actually showed up on time and walked me through everything, including how to work the funky shower controls and where to find the good WiFi spots. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk from Downtown El Gouna with all the restaurants and that whole scene, or you can grab one of the tuk-tuks that cruise around constantly. Honestly, for a 3-star place, it punches above its weight. The 10 rating makes sense when you factor in the price point and what you’re actually getting – lagoon access, pool time, and a solid base for exploring El Gouna without paying resort prices. Just bring mosquito spray for those lagoon evenings, trust me on that one.

  Strongly recommend this apartment, it was very clean, well equipped with all what u will need, the view is amazing and the outdoor area is very charming.
  Mr jean is very helpful, welcoming person and very organized he follows up with u from the beginning of ur trip till the end offering help all the time.
