Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to this spot on Kite Center Road – the name “Stylish Gouna Escape” sounds a bit marketing-heavy, you know? But walking into this 2-bedroom place, I actually found myself pleasantly surprised. The space feels bigger than most hotel rooms you’d get for the same price, and there’s something refreshing about having a proper kitchen when you’re staying more than a couple nights. You can grab fresh fish from the local market (there’s a great one about ten minutes away) and actually cook it yourself if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night.

The real win here is the Mangroovy Beach access – and I mean, once you’ve experienced El Gouna’s lagoons, you’ll understand why people keep coming back to this area. The water’s this incredible turquoise that photographs don’t quite capture, and it’s shallow enough that you can walk out pretty far without worrying about strong currents. What I love about this particular stretch is that it doesn’t get completely overrun with day-trippers like some of the more central beaches do. Mornings are especially peaceful, probably because most people are still nursing their hangovers from Marina Boulevard the night before. The pool situation is solid too – not huge, but clean and usually not crowded. I spent most afternoons there with a book because, well, sometimes you need a break from the sand.

Location-wise, you’re sort of in this sweet spot where you can walk to the kite center (hence the road name) if you’re into that scene, but you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of equipment and instructors shouting over the wind. The apartment itself has decent AC – crucial during those brutal summer months when El Gouna turns into an oven – and the Wi-Fi actually works, which isn’t always a given in this part of Egypt. Check-in was straightforward, no drama there. My only real complaint? The walls are a bit thin, so if you get neighbors who like to party, you’ll know about it. But honestly, for a 3-star place with a 9 rating, it’s delivering on what it promises. You’re getting space, location, and that laid-back El Gouna vibe without paying resort prices. If you’re planning to explore the Red Sea coast and want somewhere comfortable to come back to after long days of diving or just lounging by the water, this place makes sense.

  Понравился просторный и современный номер, в котором было все необходимое. Также для меня важным преимуществом была близость к одной из лучших кайт-станций в мире – KBC.
  
  What could be improved: Плохо работал слив в раковине. На диване несколько раз находил чужие длинные волосы.
