You know what caught me off guard about Stylish Nest? Walking into what I thought would be just another mid-range spot in El Gouna and finding something that actually lives up to its name. I mean, it’s tucked right there in the New Marina area – and when I say right there, I’m talking about a two-minute stroll to where all the boats are bobbing around and the waterfront restaurants start filling up around sunset.

The thing about El Gouna is that it can feel a bit artificial sometimes (it’s basically a planned resort town, after all), but this place manages to sidestep that sterile hotel vibe completely. The rooms have this clean, modern look without being cold – think whites and soft grays with just enough local touches that you remember you’re in Egypt, not some generic beach destination. What really sold me was the attention to small stuff: proper blackout curtains (crucial when you’re trying to sleep off yesterday’s sun), decent water pressure in the shower, and – honestly this matters more than it should – USB ports positioned where you can actually reach them from the bed.

The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the chaos. New Marina gets lively but not crazy loud, and you’re walking distance to Zeytuna Beach if you want that pristine Red Sea experience without dealing with day-trippers. I spent most evenings just wandering down to grab dinner at one of the marina restaurants – there’s this Lebanese place about fifty meters away that does incredible mezze, and the Italian spot with the terrace overlooking the water where locals actually eat, which is always a good sign. Staff here seems to genuinely know the area too, not just the standard tourist recommendations. When I mentioned wanting to try kitesurfing, the guy at reception immediately knew which operator to call and even helped negotiate a better rate.

What strikes me about the whole experience is how it punches above its weight – three stars on paper, but honestly feels more polished than places charging twice as much down the coast. The 9.2 rating makes complete sense once you’re there. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, it’s just doing everything really well. Check-in was smooth, the common areas stay clean without feeling over-managed, and there’s this relaxed efficiency to how everything runs. Even little things like having a decent coffee setup in the lobby and keeping towels stocked by what passes for a pool area (it’s more of a courtyard with water, but perfect for cooling off between beach sessions).

If you’re looking for that balance between being right in El Gouna’s social hub but still getting proper rest, and you want a place that feels thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated, this works. Plus, let’s be honest – when you’re spending most of your time exploring the Red Sea or wandering around town anyway, what you really want is somewhere comfortable and well-located to crash. Stylish Nest delivers on both counts without any of the usual mid-range hotel compromises that drive you crazy by day three.

  The staff were welcoming and attentive! The location was perfect and just a short walk from the beach. A great convenient stay overall.
  
  What could be improved: The shower is a tad outdated & our hot water ran out daily. The sheets had faint marks on them. I think just a few touch ups and extra care to the place and it's a 10/10. Service made up for it.

  Ein sehr gemütliches und sauberes Apartment in guter Lage. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend.
  
  What could be improved: Viele Lichtschalter, teilweise ohne Funktion und oft komisch in der Wohnung angeordnet. Da das Apartment nur 2 Fenster besitzt (direkt nebeneinander), ist es Grundsätzlich relativ dunkel in der Wohnung.
