You know what hit me first about this place? The name’s actually pretty accurate – you really do get this expansive lagoon view from that private roof terrace, and honestly, that’s where you’ll probably spend most of your time. I mean, El Gouna itself is this planned resort town that feels almost surreal against the desert backdrop, but from up on that terrace, it all makes sense. The lagoons stretch out in these impossibly blue patches, and you can watch the wind kitesurfers doing their thing while you’re having your morning coffee.

The apartment itself is solid – nothing fancy, but the two bedrooms are actually decent-sized, which is refreshing since a lot of these Red Sea places pack you in like sardines. The location right at El Gouna’s entrance is interesting because you’re sort of between worlds. You’ve got easy access to all the resort action – the marina with its restaurants and bars, the golf course if that’s your thing – but you’re also close enough to the main Hurghada-Safaga road that getting to the airport or venturing into actual Hurghada doesn’t require a major expedition. Parking’s straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around Egyptian resort towns will appreciate.

What I really liked was how the terrace catches different moods throughout the day. Morning light on those lagoons is pretty spectacular, and evenings… well, let’s just say the sunsets over the water make you understand why people get addicted to this stretch of coast. The trade-off is that El Gouna can feel a bit artificial – it’s essentially a master-planned community dropped into the desert – but that also means everything works reliably, the infrastructure is solid, and you’re not dealing with the chaos that sometimes comes with more organic Egyptian coastal towns. It’s not luxury accommodation by any stretch, but for the price point and that view access, it delivers what it promises. Just bring good sunscreen and maybe a book for those lazy terrace afternoons.

  Super séjour dans cet appartement à El Gouna ! L'appartement est très bien équipé et le lieu est magnifique. C’était propre dans l’ensemble, il y avait tout ce dont on avait besoin et les agents de sécurité à l'entrée étaient très gentils et serviables.
  
  Seul bémol : le check-in. Nous avons attendu plus de 2 heures malgré plusieurs appels, juste pour avoir le code du Wi-Fi et nous dire qu'il nous envoie le reste des infos par message.. Cela aurait pu être mieux organisé.
  
  Malgré ce point, tout le reste était génial !

  Après de multiples messages de relance, je n'ai toujours pas reçu la facture concernant mon séjour.
  Le règlement a été effectué par un compte société et sans cette facture sa comptabilité n'est pas a jour
  je vous serais reconnaissant de faire le nécessaire via votre prestataire pour obtenir cette facture dans les plus brefs délais
