Okay, so I stayed at this family apartment in Hurghada last winter, and honestly? It surprised me in the best way. You know how sometimes “3-bedroom apartment” sounds promising online but then you walk in and it’s basically three closets with beds? This wasn’t that at all. The place actually feels spacious – I mean, my kids weren’t constantly bumping into each other, which if you have kids, you know that’s basically a miracle.

The “sunny” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either. The apartment gets this gorgeous morning light that had my early-riser daughter happy as can be, and the living area stays bright pretty much all day. What I really appreciated was how they’ve set it up – it’s clearly designed by people who understand families. There’s actually counter space in the kitchen (shocking, I know), and the bedrooms are arranged so the kids can be… well, loud kids… without waking up the entire building. The furniture isn’t fancy, but it’s sturdy enough that I wasn’t constantly worried about my son breaking something expensive.

Location-wise, you’re in Hurghada proper, not stuck out in some resort bubble. I actually loved this because we could walk to local spots for breakfast – there’s this little place about ten minutes away where the owner’s kids played with mine while we had coffee. The Red Sea is obviously the main draw here, and you’re close enough to the good diving spots without being right in the middle of the tourist chaos. Parking was never an issue, which honestly was a relief because I’d heard horror stories from other travelers. The building itself is pretty quiet – we had some concerns about noise with the kids, but the other residents were super understanding, and the walls are thicker than you’d expect. Check-in was straightforward, though I’d recommend confirming your arrival time because the property manager isn’t always on-site. One small thing – the hot water takes a minute to get going in the mornings, but that’s pretty typical for this area. Overall, it’s one of those places where you can actually relax instead of feeling like you’re camping in someone else’s space. For families looking to experience Hurghada without the resort markup, this place gets it right.

  The apartment is in a very good location, just 5 minutes to the beach. 3 minutes to a good store that has everything you need. A pedestrian street with many cafés and shops is nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment could be cleaner. There are very few dishes and utensils in the kitchen. There were no towels.
