You know what struck me first about Sunrise Garden Beach Resort? It’s actually positioned perfectly along that stretch of the Hurghada-Safaga road where the coastline gets really dramatic – about 20 kilometers south of the main Hurghada chaos, which honestly is exactly where you want to be. The resort sits on this gorgeous piece of Red Sea coastline that feels worlds away from the tourist madness, but you’re still close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you into town when you want some action.

The property itself is… well, it’s one of those places that actually lives up to its five-star rating, which I mean, doesn’t always happen in Egypt despite what the brochures promise. The gardens are genuinely lush (hence the name, I suppose), and they’ve done this thing where the landscaping creates these natural little pockets of privacy around the pools and walkways. The beach access is direct – no annoying shuttle rides or long walks through other hotels’ territory like you get at some Red Sea resorts. What really got me was how they’ve managed the coral reef situation here; it’s practically untouched compared to some of the more trampled spots further north, and the snorkeling is honestly incredible right off their beach. The staff seems to know their stuff too – they’ll point out the best spots for seeing parrotfish and napoleons without you having to ask around.

I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and the whole place had this relaxed vibe that I imagine gets a bit more intense during European winter holidays, but even then, the resort’s spread out enough that it never feels cramped. The rooms – I had one of the sea-view ones – actually deliver on the view promise, and the balconies are deep enough to properly sit outside with morning coffee and watch the fishing boats head out at dawn. Check-in was smooth (always a relief after those long flights into Hurghada), and parking is abundant if you’re planning to rent a car and explore some of the desert attractions inland. The food situation is solid; their main restaurant does a decent job with both international stuff and local Egyptian dishes, though honestly, if you’re feeling adventurous, there are some fantastic little local spots back toward Hurghada that are worth the drive. The 9.1 rating this place pulls makes total sense – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, just consistently good at what matters most: great location, clean comfortable accommodations, and that particular Red Sea magic that keeps people coming back to this part of Egypt year after year.

  We liked everything. I cannot compare them to other five-star hotels we have been to because they have their own unique qualities. From staff, facilities, service, and activities, everything was good. A special mention to Mohammed Shafi (sorry if I misspelled your last name 😉) from the lobby bar. Thanks for the wonderful drinks you prepared for us; one of the best margaritas I have ever tasted. To Mohammed Wahad and Mohammed El Nassr from reception, thank you for helping us. And to Mr. Maged, the reception manager (I hope I am right 😊), thank you for assisting with all our inquiries; you are all the best. See you again, inshallah. I highly recommend this hotel.

  Not our 1st time, nor the last, the hotel is extremely comfortable and joyful.
  Starting with the professional check-in, the clean room, the smiling staff, activities, water slides, kids pool, variety of restaurants with a varying menu (and all were tasty), animation team, clean and calm beach.. We've been visiting Sunrise Chain for 8 years, and Sunrise Garden twice consecutively and the standards are all the same and enhancing.. Thank you!
  
  What could be improved: I'd only suggest the pop corn, ice cream and cotton candy stand to accept room charge at checkout.. We rarely go to the beach/pool with cash along.

  My stay at the hotel was nothing short of amazing! This was my fourth time here, and honestly, it definitely won’t be the last.
  The hotel is absolutely stunning, super well-organized, and offers daily parties either by the beach or in the restaurants. The whole atmosphere is full of joy and positive energy — it truly feels like you’re in another world.
  
  One of the unique things about the experience is the access to Mamlouk Hotel, which is just a one-minute walk away. It’s like booking two hotels in one!
  You can have breakfast in one, dinner in the other, a party here and another one there — the variety and flexibility make the stay even more enjoyable and never boring.
  
  The food options were excellent, catering to all tastes, and the snacks available throughout the day were delicious and perfect for both adults and kids.
  
  I’d like to give a special thanks to the reception staff for their kindness and professionalism — especially:
  Tarek, Mohamed Abdelwahab, Ahmed Basyouni, Hossam, and most of all Ahmed Eissa, who was truly exceptional and extremely helpful.
