You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of places along the Red Sea coast, but Susi’s apartment actually made me pause and take a proper breath when I walked in. The view – and I mean, they’re not kidding when they say “TheView” – honestly stretches across the entire coastline from this spot on Sheraton Road. It’s one of those moments where you drop your bags and just stand there for a minute, watching the boats bob around in that impossibly blue water.

The thing about this area is that you’re technically in the older part of Hurghada, which means you get the authentic Egyptian vibe without the cruise ship crowds that pack the newer resort strips. Susi’s place sits right in this sweet spot where you can walk to actual local restaurants (there’s this tiny place two blocks down that does the best koshari I’ve had outside Cairo), but you’re still close enough to the marina that you can easily grab boats out to the islands. The apartment itself feels properly luxurious – I mean, the bathroom alone is bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve paid decent money for – but it’s got this lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually unpack instead of living out of your suitcase. The kitchen is fully stocked, which is clutch because honestly, resort food gets old fast and sometimes you just want to grab some fresh fish from the market and cook it yourself while watching the sunset.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how quiet it gets at night. The Sheraton Road can be a bit busy during the day – you’ll hear some traffic and the occasional call to prayer from the nearby mosque – but once evening hits, it’s just the sound of waves and maybe some distant music from the beachfront cafes. I actually slept better here than I have in years, and that’s saying something because I’m usually a terrible sleeper when I travel. The air conditioning works properly (which, trust me, matters a lot in Hurghada summers), and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re stepping on each other if you’re traveling with someone. Plus, Susi clearly knows what travelers actually need – good WiFi, plenty of outlets, real hangers in the closet, that sort of thing. It’s those little details that make you realize someone who actually understands travel put thought into this place.

  Die Aussicht war unbeschreiblich schön. Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Es war alles vorhanden und alles war liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch der Pool und die Sonnenliegen waren quasi direkt vor der Terrasse. In der Anlage haben wir uns sicher gefühlt und die Security hat uns jeden Tag mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Besonders möchten wir auch an dieser Stelle Ahmed erwähnen, der uns immer mit guten Ratschlägen zur Seite stand und jederzeit erreichbar war. Seine Hilfsbereitschaft war zu jeder Zeit freundlich und professionell. Wir können das Apartment, die Besitzerin und Ahmed auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

  Wunderschöne moderne Ferienwohnung oberhalb von Hurghada, die perfekt ausgestattet ist. Perfekt, um der Hektik und dem Lärm der Stadt zu entkommen. Ahmed ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter, freundlicher und kompetenter Gastgeber. Die Anlage ist neu und sehr gepflegt und befindet sich teilweise noch in der Finalisierung.

  Besonders die Lage , der Ausblick von der Terrasse is unbeschreiblich.
  Man darf dabei Susi und Ahmed nicht vergessen , die beiden sind rund um die Uhr für die Gäste erreichbar, immer freundlich immer mit Rat und Tat beim Gast so etwas kann man sich als Gast nur wünschen.
  
  What could be improved: Leider gehen da andere Gäste mit ihren Hunden spazieren im Hof und die pissen da alles voll und das in Pool Nähe .
