Look, I’ll be straight with you about Tawila Villa T1-15 – it’s one of those places that grows on you once you figure out what it’s actually about. When I first pulled up to this spot on the main Gouna road, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a 3-star place, but sometimes the best discoveries come from keeping your expectations in check.

The thing about this villa is that it sits right in that sweet spot where El Gouna starts to feel less touristy and more… well, real. You’re still close enough to all the marina action and those fancy resort restaurants, but you’re not paying resort prices or dealing with crowds every time you step outside. The owner actually lives in the area – you can tell because there are all these little touches that only happen when someone who knows the place is running things. Like, they’ll tell you which mini-market stays open late (trust me, you’ll need this info), and the WiFi password isn’t just “password123” – it actually works consistently, which is more than I can say for some of the pricier places I’ve stayed.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night. During the day, sure, you’ll hear some traffic from the main road, but once evening hits, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The villa itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – the kind of place where the shower pressure is actually decent and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works, and honestly? That’s what matters when you’re trying to sleep off a day of diving or exploring Hurghada’s old town. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. Plus, you’re about a 15-minute drive from the really good seafood spots down by the harbor, and if you’re here during the winter months, you’ll appreciate how the villa stays cool during the day but doesn’t turn into an icebox at night like some of the bigger hotels do with their industrial AC systems.

  The location near the marina and downtown,the open space so you can easily see the pool and the lagoon

  I really enjoyed the villa overall, especially the pool and the lagoon. The cleanliness of the villa and the high-speed internet were fantastic. I also appreciated the variety of rooms available in the villa.
  
  What could be improved: I didn't like that my room lacked blackout curtains, which made it difficult to sleep because it was extremely bright.

  What could be improved: The villa needs a lot of maintenance, reception sofa , seats was stinky , outdoor furniture was dirty , towels for outdoor was in a terrible condition , walls near the main door was very dirty , not even a single bottle of water in the refrigerator, no soap at the bathrooms , I didn’t like the place , it’s not value at all for Monies

  What could be improved: Die Küche war extrem verschmutzt und sehr beschädigt, müsse mal dringend ausgetauscht werden das kann man Gäste nicht zumuten, die Gäste werden durch Hochglanzfotos sehr getäuscht, es ist in der Villa noch mehr kaputt, müsste mal alles nachgesrbeitet werden , reparaturrückstau
