Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to TIBA GOLDEN, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place in Hurghada. The building itself is pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, but you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. What really got my attention was walking through the lobby and catching that first glimpse of their private beach stretching out behind the property. I mean, having your own slice of Red Sea coastline without the crowds fighting for space – that’s worth its weight in gold around here.

The thing about this place that really clicked for me was how it feels more like a local secret than a tourist trap. Most of the big resort chains have completely taken over the main strip, but TIBA GOLDEN sits just far enough away that you get this quieter vibe while still being close enough to everything. The private beach is honestly the star of the show – the sand’s clean, the water’s that ridiculous turquoise color the Red Sea’s famous for, and there are actually enough loungers for everyone (shocking, I know). Mornings are absolutely perfect out there, especially if you’re into snorkeling. The house reef isn’t spectacular, but it’s decent enough to keep you entertained, and the water stays calm most of the day. The hotel staff seems to really know their stuff about the local diving spots too – they’ll point you toward the better coral formations if you ask.

What surprised me most was how well everything actually works here. The rooms are clean and comfortable (not Instagram-worthy, but who cares), the AC keeps up with the Egyptian heat, and the Wi-Fi is solid enough for video calls back home. Check-in was smooth, parking’s free and easy, and honestly the whole place just runs without drama. The restaurant serves up decent Egyptian classics alongside the usual international stuff – their grilled fish is actually really good, probably because they source it locally. The pool area gets busy in the afternoons when people want a break from the beach, but it never felt overcrowded. I appreciated that they keep the music at a reasonable volume too, unlike some places that think louder equals more fun. For a 3-star property pulling a 9 rating, it makes total sense – they’re not trying to be something they’re not, they’re just doing the fundamentals really well. If you want a straightforward beach vacation without paying resort prices, and you’d rather spend your money on diving trips and exploring Hurghada instead of fancy lobby marble, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  Clean, new furnished with nice, comfortable designs and all required devices working in very good conditions , fridge, electric stove , microwave , automatic washing machine etc.
  The swimming pool was directly front to our apartment and very nice playground for children
