You know what caught me off guard about Tiba Rose? I was expecting another cookie-cutter Red Sea hotel, but this place actually has some character. It sits right on Al Kornish Road – literally next door to the Hilton Plaza, which honestly works in your favor because you get all the fancy neighborhood perks without the fancy price tag. The lobby’s got this sort of retro Egyptian charm going on, kind of like your aunt’s living room if your aunt had really good taste in the 80s.

The location is honestly the star here. I mean, you’re practically stumbling distance from some of Hurghada’s better restaurants, and the corniche walkway is right there when you need to walk off all that koshari. The beach access is decent – not pristine resort-level sand, but it’s the Red Sea, so the snorkeling more than makes up for it. I spent most mornings just floating around looking at fish that probably cost more than my room rate. Staff-wise, they’re genuinely helpful without being overly hovering, which I appreciated. Ahmed at the front desk knows every taxi driver in town and somehow always negotiated better prices for day trips than I could manage on my own.

Now, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble everything – the rooms are clean and functional, though the AC can be a bit temperamental (pro tip: befriend maintenance early). The pool area gets pretty lively during European winter months when everyone’s escaping the cold, but if you’re there in shoulder season, you’ll practically have it to yourself. What really sold me was how it feels like a proper Egyptian hotel rather than some international chain that could be anywhere. You’ll hear Arabic music drifting from the café, smell shisha from the terrace, and actually feel like you’re somewhere specific. The 7.9 rating makes sense – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. Perfect for travelers who want to spend their money on experiences rather than thread counts.

  This is a very clean cozy hotel on the first line of the Red Sea. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is clean and has everything you need, everything works. If you decide to relax alone or with a couple in a quiet cozy atmosphere, then this is your place. This hotel reminded me of small cozy hotels in Bad Reichenhall (Bavaria, Berchtesgaden land). The dinner was plentiful. You won't go away hungry. You can have lunch for a relatively small fee.

  Nice place with good location. It is close to the mall (2 minutes walking) and close to the marina (5 minutes with Uber). The hotel beach isn’t good (I saw a lot of styrofoam!). The shower is small. The food is decent. The price is reasonable.

  The Staff was very helpful. When asked about anything they were very helpful. The room was beyond our expectations. For the price we got it included Breakfast & Dinner. For the price given the room and food were great. Any question we had about our stay was answered and solved at max in 10 minutes. When we said we were gonna leave at 2 AM they even offered a breakfast for us. So we won't get hungry on the road.
  
  What could be improved: Maybe the food can be better but at the Price we had. But in my offense, I had no say in it. The location is a bit far away because of that there is nothing around the Hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn't enter the pool and the sea because of the weather. But when we had a tour the fence near the beach was a bit shabby. If It could be replaced it would please the eye more. But that's it.

  Very calm, nice view , comfortable beds and good location. 5 min walk to a big mall and to the beach. 3 USD uber from airport.The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful.
  The breakfst was good and tasty but the area needs to be larger.
