You know what struck me first about VESTA? It’s not just another resort trying to squeeze every penny out of the Soma Bay tourist rush. I mean, you’re staying in what feels like a proper residence – apartment 303 C to be exact – and honestly, that makes all the difference when you want to actually live somewhere for a few days instead of just passing through.

The location is pretty smart, actually. You’re right in the heart of Soma Bay but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of day-trippers heading to the main beach clubs. I found myself walking down to the water in about three minutes, which is perfect for those early morning swims before the wind picks up (and trust me, it does pick up around noon most days). The whole Soma Bay area has this interesting vibe – it’s developed but not overdeveloped, if that makes sense. You’ve got the golf course crowd mixing with the kitesurfers, and somehow it all works without feeling chaotic.

What really won me over was how the place actually functions for real people. The kitchen isn’t just for show – I ended up cooking a few meals there because, honestly, sometimes you want to eat fresh fish from the local market without paying resort prices. Speaking of which, there’s a small market about a ten-minute drive toward Hurghada where the fishermen sell their catch directly. The staff at VESTA pointed me there, which tells you something about how they think about their guests. The air conditioning works properly (crucial in summer), the Wi-Fi is reliable enough for video calls, and there’s actual space to spread out your stuff – small things that matter when you’re not just passing through for a night. I particularly appreciated the balcony setup; you can sit out there in the evenings with a drink and watch the kite surfers practicing their tricks as the sun sets. The whole place has this relaxed confidence to it, like it knows it’s good without needing to shout about it. That 9.7 rating isn’t just people being polite – it’s earned through dozens of small details done right.

  Voll ausgestattete Villa in fußläufiger Nähe zu Golf Anlage und kleinen Strandabschnitten.
  Aktuell ist die Anlage im Aufbau, was uns einen sehr ruhigen Aufenthalt mit wenigen Nachbarn beschert hat. Genau das Richtige für unsere Ruhepause nach einer aktiven und kulturellen Woche.
  
  What could be improved: Alles in allem super ausgerüstet. Einziger zu verbessernder Punkt waren die Töpfe und Pfannen in der Küche, bei denen die Beschichtung teils stark zerkratzt war. Wenn man nichts braten oder kochen will, ist das unerheblich. Wir konnten unsere Pancakes dann im Waffeleisen herstellen 😊
  
  Die Anlage ist noch im Aufbau, weshalb man mehrere noch nicht fertige Villen in der Umgebung hat. War für uns aber kein Problem, eher sogar vorteilhaft, da dadurch weniger Nachbarn.
