You know what struck me first about Villa Rayan? It’s actually tucked away in this quiet corner of the Bowling Street tourist area – and I mean that in the best way possible. While most of Hurghada’s hotels are either right on the beach chaos or buried in some residential maze, this place sits in villa 9040 like it’s been there forever, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to get a decent night’s sleep. The taxi drivers know exactly where it is too, which saved me that awkward phone-call-to-reception dance I usually have to do in Egypt.

The thing about Villa Rayan is that it feels more like staying at a really well-run private residence than a typical hotel – and I’ve stayed at my share of five-star places in Hurghada that felt like glorified resorts with zero personality. Here, the staff actually remembers your name after day one, and they’ll give you the real scoop on which restaurants are worth walking to (there’s this little seafood place about three blocks down that they recommended, and honestly, it was better than the hotel restaurant). The rooms have this lived-in elegance that you don’t usually find – I mean, everything’s pristine and clearly expensive, but it doesn’t feel like it was designed by a committee in Dubai, you know? The air conditioning actually works quietly, which is a minor miracle in this part of the world, and the bathrooms have proper water pressure that doesn’t disappear when someone else is showering.

What really sold me on the place was how they handle the little things that can make or break a stay. Check-in was smooth even though I arrived at some ungodly hour, and they had cold towels waiting – which sounds cheesy but feels amazing when you’ve been traveling for twelve hours. The Wi-Fi works in every corner (tested it), there’s always hot coffee in the lobby area, and they keep the common spaces cool without turning them into arctic tundra. The location gives you easy access to the Red Sea without being right in the thick of the tourist madness, so you can actually walk around the neighborhood in the evening without dodging selfie sticks every five steps. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels like too much work – and honestly, with a 9-point rating, I’m surprised it’s not harder to book.

  It was nice to stay at avilla Rayan. We enjoyed the pool, privacy, its completely private and protected from all the sides, the house was so clean upon arrival and it was a warm welcome from Sayed. Location is perfect, near from the shops and all attractions on the promenade. Definitely we will be back again.

  Mr. Sayed was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The Pool area was outstanding, and the view from our room was breathtaking.

  The location is excellent. It is a short walk from the El Kauther area, which has an abundance of great restaurants and shops and is a lovely place to visit in the daytime and evening.

  Lovely Villa, very comfortable. Whole garden is surrounded by a high hedge which makes the property very private even though you are located close to the shops and retaurants. Nice pool (3m x 5m) which has a fence surrounding it.
  Sayed the owner is very helpful, even took us for a tour of the local sights. Always sends a message to tell you when they are coming to do Pool Cleaning/Watering etc.

  Privacy is 100% complete, the health and hygiene standrads are controlled, can remotely work from Villa they have free high speed Wi-Fi, the space is more than perfect, facilities are complete starting from complete kitchen, TV, books, private pool

  Our host was exceptionally attentive and accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. Having a spacious common room to enjoy relaxed evenings with our group was very pleasant, and the two bathrooms were particularly convenient.
  
  What could be improved: The appartment is advertised as suitable for six guests and while it works, we were a bit surprised to find one of the double beds located directly in the main common room, a detail not entirely clear from the listing images. Also: While the pool is labeled as an "indoor swimming pool" – as clearly shown in the images it is "just" a private outdoor pool 🙂

  Also es hat mir die Reise sehr gut gefallen. Der Flug war schön und das Aufenthalt bei Villa Ryan hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich würde wieder hinfliegen nach Hurghada und auch die Villa ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es war sehr sauber die ganze Gänge konnte man mit Auto sehr gut erledigen k Es war sehr schön, es auch weiter zu empfehlen.
