Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in El Gouna over the years, and White Villas honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When you first pull up, it doesn’t scream luxury resort – it’s more like stumbling onto someone’s really well-designed private compound. The villas are scattered around in this organic way that actually makes sense once you’re walking between them, and honestly, the fact that it’s not some massive tower block is exactly why it works. You know what I mean? Sometimes smaller is just… better.

The whole setup feels properly Egyptian but without any of that touristy theme park nonsense you get at some places. I mean, the architecture has these clean white lines that catch the Red Sea light perfectly, especially around sunset when everything gets this warm golden glow. What really got me though was how quiet it stays – even when the marina area gets crazy with tourists (which it definitely does, especially during European winter months), you’re tucked away enough that you actually hear the water lapping instead of constant chatter and music. The staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing too, not just going through motions. Check-in was smooth, they knew the local spots to recommend, and – this is key – they understand that sometimes you just want to be left alone to enjoy the place.

The location thing is interesting because you’re technically in El Gouna but it feels more intimate than staying right in the marina madness. You can walk to the main spots easily enough, but you’re not dealing with the constant foot traffic and noise. I actually preferred it this way – close enough to grab dinner at one of the decent restaurants or hit up the diving centers, but far enough that you can properly relax. The Red Sea is right there obviously, and the water clarity is still incredible despite all the development over the years. What struck me most was how the whole place just feels… intentional, I guess? Like someone actually thought about how people want to experience this part of Egypt, rather than just cramming in as many rooms as possible. It’s not perfect – the WiFi can be spotty and you’ll pay resort prices for drinks – but there’s something genuinely restorative about the whole experience that makes those minor irritations fade pretty quickly.

  I had an amazing stay at this villa in El Gouna! The location on the water is simply stunning, and having a private pool made it even better. The villa itself is well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, The host was exceptional, always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway!

  This place is very spacious and private People there are fewer than usual which give you great comfort toilets are pristine, design is modern with art reception area is well distributed, pool was heated and i went at dawn and night comfortably, my kids and bigger family liked the place so much, all the outer area has tremendous space more than most villas, I recommend very much.
