Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place in El Gouna’s South Marina, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment rental. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that surprise you. The building sits right in the marina district – and I mean actually IN it, not some marketing version of “near the marina.” You can literally walk out and grab coffee at one of those little cafés that overlook the boats, or hop on a water taxi without any hassle.

The apartment itself has that lived-in comfort that’s way better than sterile hotel rooms. The pool area became my daily hangout spot, especially in the late afternoon when the Red Sea breeze picks up and you can actually hear the water lapping against the marina walls. What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being so central – El Gouna’s got this weird magic where even the busy areas don’t feel chaotic like downtown Hurghada does. The locals who run the nearby shops actually remember your name after a day or two, which is pretty rare in tourist spots. I spent most mornings walking down to the marina promenade with my coffee, watching the diving boats head out while the town was still waking up.

The practical stuff matters too, and this place gets it right. Parking’s actually available (trust me, this is huge in El Gouna), the WiFi works consistently, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof. I mean, it’s not luxury resort fancy, but it’s got everything you need without the pretentious markup. The kitchen’s properly equipped if you want to grab fresh fish from the marina market – which, by the way, happens early morning and you’ll want to get there before 9 AM for the best selection. What sealed it for me was the genuine helpfulness of the management; when I mentioned wanting to try kitesurfing, they actually knew which local instructor to recommend rather than just pointing me toward the expensive resort options. For the price point and that perfect marina location, it’s honestly one of those finds that makes you feel like you discovered something special rather than just booked another generic stay.

  Location. The Apartment and facilities within and pool and grounds outside. All the HolidayHomes Red Sea staff that we dealt with were very professional, helpful, courteous and very friendly…….we felt very well looked after!

  Super schneller, netter und kompetenter Kontakt zum Vermieter.
  Wir hatten eine sehr Ankunft, kamen aber ohne irgendwelche Probleme in das Apartment.
  Schöne moderne Ausstattung, alles funktioniert und ist gepflegt.
