The building sits right in the heart of Hurghada’s tourist zone, but somehow – and this is the magic part – it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant street noise that plagues most places in this area.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not a sterile hotel room that’s been sanitized of all personality. Yasin has clearly put thought into making this work as a proper living space – the Wi-Fi is genuinely reliable (I was working remotely during my stay), the kitchen has everything you’d actually need, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night. Being on the third floor helps, sure, but there’s something about the way the building is positioned that buffers most of the street sounds. The call to prayer from the mosque downstairs becomes part of the rhythm rather than a disruption – honestly, I found it kind of comforting after a few days.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before arriving: the staircase is narrow and there’s no elevator, so pack light or be prepared for a bit of a workout with heavy luggage. Also, Shamina Restaurant downstairs (the landmark mentioned in the address) is actually pretty decent for breakfast if you don’t feel like cooking. The 9.7 rating this place has? I get it now. It’s not fancy – this is definitely a 3-star situation – but everything works, it’s clean, Yasin is responsive when you need something, and the location gives you that perfect balance of being in the middle of everything while still having a quiet retreat. You’re walking distance from the marina, the main shopping areas, decent restaurants that aren’t tourist traps, and you can easily grab taxis or local transport. I stayed here during what locals told me was a busy season, and while the streets were packed during the day, coming back to this little oasis felt like a relief every time. It’s the kind of place where you stop feeling like a tourist after day two and start feeling like you’ve got your own little corner of Hurghada figured out.
