You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Yasmin Villa in El Gouna’s Phase 4 – honestly, three-star places can be hit or miss, especially in these newer developments. But this little villa at 11A completely surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not trying to be some flashy resort, but everything just… works.

El Gouna’s Phase 4 is actually one of the quieter sections – you’re away from the main tourist bustle around Abu Tig Marina, but still close enough that you can walk to decent restaurants without needing a taxi every time. The villa itself sits in this residential pocket where you’ll hear more local families than tour groups, which I mean, gives you a much more authentic feel of what living here is actually like. Parking’s never an issue (thank god, because finding a spot near the marina can be a nightmare), and the neighbors are pretty chill – no crazy party noise, just the occasional sound of kids playing outside. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward lobby waiting around while they “prepare your room.”

What really got me was the attention to small details that most places completely overlook. The water pressure in the shower is actually strong (you’d be amazed how rare that is), there’s proper blackout curtains so you can sleep in without the desert sun blasting you awake at 6 AM, and – this might sound weird but – the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the place. I spent a lot of evenings on what they call the terrace area, and honestly, it’s perfect for those moments when you want to decompress with a beer and just watch the neighborhood wind down. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s well-kept vacation home than some sterile hotel room. Sure, it’s not going to have a massive pool or spa services, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base where everything works properly and you can actually relax. That 9.4 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense – it’s because places like this nail the fundamentals that actually matter when you’re trying to enjoy your time in Egypt.

  The villa is exactly as it looks on the photos. The owner has paid attention to the details in furniture and design. The beds are comfortable. The garden has plenty of seating and the pool is ver nice. The manager is a lovely person. He helped us from the first moment. He took us to shopping on arrival and really did beyond our expectations. He was quick to resolve little issues. We enjoyed our holiday. We hope to be back again.
