So here’s the thing about AlDau Heights – it’s one of those places that actually gets what travelers want without making a huge fuss about it. I mean, when you first pull up to the complex on AL Fondok Street, it’s not going to blow you away with flashy architecture or anything, but there’s something solid and reassuring about the whole setup. The building has this clean, modern look that fits right into Hurghada’s newer development area, and honestly, after dealing with some of the more chaotic parts of the Red Sea coast, there’s something refreshing about a place that just… works.

What really surprised me was how quiet it gets here, especially considering you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious – like, you can actually unpack your stuff and not feel like you’re living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which is huge if you want to grab some fresh fish from the local market (there’s a great one about ten minutes away) and cook it yourself. You know what I loved? The balconies. Most of them catch this really nice cross-breeze in the evenings, and if you’re on one of the higher floors, you get these glimpses of the Red Sea between the other buildings. It’s not a full sea view or anything, but it’s enough to remind you where you are.

The whole AlDau Heights area has become pretty popular with people who want to be near the action but not right in the middle of the tourist madness down by the marina. You’re close enough to walk to some decent restaurants – there’s this little Egyptian place about five minutes down AL Fondok Street that does incredible koshari – but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups marching past your window at 6 AM. Parking is actually manageable here too, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Hurghada during peak season will appreciate. The staff keeps things running smoothly without being overly formal about it, and check-in was surprisingly efficient. I’ve stayed at plenty of places along this coast, and honestly, the 8.4 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the fanciest spot in town, but it delivers on the basics really well, plus a few nice touches that show someone’s actually thinking about what guests need.

  Spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking the pool. Very modernly equipped. Close to the Old Vic Beach.
  
  What could be improved: It takes a while to get a key of the apartment. There is no reception desk. You have to call the telephone number you get when book a room.

  Excellent spacious apartment on a super development. We really couldn’t complain and enjoyed our stay. Location was decent. 5 mins in taxi to the marina. Walkable to restaurants. Shops on site. Great value for money.
  
  What could be improved: Check was bizarre. A little confusing. We got dropped off by the Uber driver in the wrong place which isn’t the owners fault but upon finding it had to wait 25 minutes for someone to come and get us from outside the complex. Strange set up. But once sorted the place was faultless.

  What could be improved: We didn't have water after the first day due to shortages on the whole region but the host was very apologetic and dealt with it in a good manner.

  What could be improved: I booked an apartment 2-3 days before check In but when i arrived i needed to wait almost an hour in the entry before i have been handed the keys. I would have appreciated if the process was faster and the security were told in advance about my arrival.
