Honestly, when I first saw the name “ELITE VIP” I was a bit skeptical – you know how these over-the-top names can be. But this place in the Cleopatra compound actually delivers on what matters most. The sea view from the apartment is genuinely spectacular, especially in the morning when the Red Sea catches that first light. I mean, Hurghada has plenty of accommodations claiming water views, but this one sits at just the right angle where you’re not squinting through palm fronds or construction cranes.

What really won me over was how the whole setup works together. The swimming pool isn’t huge, but it’s perfectly positioned – you can float around in the afternoon when the beach gets too crowded (and trust me, Hurghada’s beaches do get packed, especially around midday). The BBQ terrace is where this place really shines though. There’s something about grilling your own dinner while watching the sunset over the water that just hits different. The compound itself is well-maintained, which isn’t always a given in this area, and the location puts you close enough to the main beach strip that you can walk there in flip-flops, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the street noise and hustlers constantly.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room – there’s actual character here, not just generic furniture. Sure, it’s rated 3 stars, but that 8.6 rating makes sense when you factor in the value. You’re getting way more space and privacy than you’d find at those big resort chains, plus you can actually cook if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The Red Sea Governorate can be hit or miss with accommodations, but this spot in the Cleopatra compound has figured out what travelers actually want – a genuine view, some outdoor space to call your own, and a location that feels connected to the area without being overwhelmed by it. Just don’t expect five-star service – this is more about having your own little slice of the Red Sea coast.

  The apartment has everything you need, was super clean and was fully equipped (even with a washing machine!). I really felt very comfortable.
  There is also a balcony & you can chill on parts of the rooftop terrace (just walk straight and left).
  The Hurghada City Center (Carrefour) is just 2 walking minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants, corner stores around the apartment.
  Hanya is super friendly & helpful with everything – thank you 🫶🏼

  I spent 5 nights here, and had a great stay. The check in was done over WhatsApp (instructions on how to get key and enter the apartment). The Cleopatra compound reception is on the right as you walk through the black gates. The guy at reception will probably take a photocopy of your passport. When I was there the man at reception also took me to me room. (That was nice)
  
  The studio apartment was perfect for my needs. It had everything I needed, and was nice and clean. It had satellite TV with a few English channels, Aircon, a comfy double bed, a chair and a sofa, worktop cooking hob (for heating food in saucepans), microwave, kettle, fridge, washing machine, some pots and pans, glasses, plates, cutlery etc. The bathroom was nice and clean with a shower. The balcony has a partial sea view (as shown in the photos)
  
  Hanya has also created an information folder which can help you with things to do etc.
  
  Hanya (the host), was very quick to reply to any questions I had. Unfortunately on the day I arrived there was no internet, Hanya was straight onto the problem and quickly found out the internet provider (WE) had an outage. Obviously there was nothing Hanya could do about that, it's just one of those things, but she ran around trying to solve the issue, so I'm absolutely delighted with all her efforts.
  
  All in all, I had a great stay at Elite VIP Apartments
  
  What could be improved: The only downside is the Cleopatra Compound. Its an old, neglected, Egyptian residential property. That's all I'll say regarding any negatives.

  The apartment is situated in a building very closed to the City center where you can access the city Mall, very modern and well maintained building,where you can do your groceries or have a good time shopping. The flat itself is clean and you have everything you need if you want to cook breakfast,make a hot drink, fridge. The bathroom is clean and well maintained,hot water at any time.
  Hanya ,the host , put together a folder with very useful informations about how to find your way around the area,transport ,and places of interest.

  Good location, close to beaches and 5 minutes walk to Hurghada City Center mall. The apartment is in a largely residential complex. Don't be put off by the entrance, which is a bit dark and not very appealing. The apartment itself is comfortable and well equipped. The owner provides a very useful information file on places to see and things to do.

  Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, deutsche Ansprüche sollte man jedoch etwas herunterschrauben.
  Wir haben und wohlgefühlt und die Zeit abseits der All-Inclusive Anlagen genossen.
  
  What could be improved: Die Beschreibung sollte überarbeitet werden: es gibt kein Schlafzimmer und kein Wohnzimmer, da es sich um ein Studio handelt. Wo man 4 Personen unterbringen soll, weiß ich auch nicht, 3 Personen ging jedoch problemlos.
  Auch gibt es kein Bidet, keinen Toaster und der Pool ist kein Infinitypool – dieser war auch nicht gereinigt und die Pumple lief nicht, sodass wir den Pool nicht genutzt haben. Auch die Rooftop Terrasse mit BBQ verspricht mehr, als es ist.
  Ziemlich vermüllt und mit SAT-Schüsseln vollgepflastert dort oben, trotzdem eine wunderbare Aussicht. Ein BBQ Grill habe ich nicht gesehen und auch der Rest der Terrasse ist nicht wirklich einladend. Dies alles ist für ägyptische Verhältnisse jedoch "jammern" auf hohem Niveau.
