You know what caught me off guard about Florenza Khamsin? It’s one of those places that completely overdelivers on what you’d expect from a 3-star spot in Hurghada. I mean, when I first pulled up to this unassuming building tucked away in the Arabia Area, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – but then you walk into the lobby and there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here.

The sea view rooms are absolutely worth the upgrade, and I’m not just saying that because it’s in the name. From my balcony on the fourth floor, you get this unobstructed stretch of the Red Sea that changes colors throughout the day – those deep turquoise mornings shifting to almost purple by sunset. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays even during Hurghada’s busier months. The hotel sits just far enough from the main tourist strip that you’re not dealing with constant street noise, but you’re still only about a 10-minute walk to the corniche and all those seafood restaurants locals actually eat at. The Wi-Fi is legitimately free and actually works well – I was able to video call home without any of those frustrating connection drops you get at so many Egyptian hotels.

Here’s what really sets this place apart though: the staff genuinely seems to know Hurghada inside and out. When I mentioned wanting to find a good dive shop that wasn’t just catering to package tourists, the front desk guy (Ahmed, I think?) didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – he actually called his cousin who runs a smaller operation and got me a better rate on a two-day diving course. That kind of personal touch is pretty rare these days. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works properly (the AC actually cools the room, the shower has decent pressure, little things like that). I did notice some minor wear around the bathroom fixtures, but honestly, for the price point and the fact that you’re getting genuine sea views, it’s really not worth complaining about. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it absolutely nails what it is trying to be: a solid, well-run hotel where you can actually relax and use as a base for exploring the Red Sea without breaking the bank.

  Good location but a bit far from city center – book your tours for pick up and drop off.
  For souvenirs, go to cleopatra bazar (fixed prices).
  Very nice owner, super helpful and welcomed us with fruits and water.

  What could be improved: A bit difficult to find the correct entrance at first as the building is huge.

  The apartment is well located but the instructions to get there were confusing. It is above the beach road, there are buildings at the front. The sea is visible but a distance. It is well designed and feels comfortable. It has a permanent security guardianship.
  
  What could be improved: The WiFi had moments of not working as well as the water. Shower was either too hot or cold due to the lack of pressure from the water supply system, something rather common in tourist beach areas. The TV channels were mostly Arabic stations, so I could only watch France24 for the time being and that, after searching the entire satellite system.

  Todo excelente, el lugar limpio, muy moderno, con todo lo necesario para una estadía de primer nivel. Wifi, agua caliente, cómodo, amplia terraza. Muy cerca de playas y restaurantes. Mahmoud fue muy amable y nos ayudó con todo. El edificio muy bueno, con varias piscinas.
  Sin duda volveríamos. Absolutamente recomendado
  
  Everything was excellent. The place was clean, very modern, and had everything you needed for a first-class stay. Wi-Fi, hot water, comfortable, and had a large terrace. Very close to beaches and restaurants. Mahmoud was very kind and helped us with everything. The building was very nice with several pools.

  Eigen appartement met een fijn balkon. Alles aanwezig en Mahmoud, de beheerder, is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam
  
  What could be improved: Het bed is ontzettend hard.
  Moeilijk om ergens bij een strand te komen. Heeft op zich niks met het appartement te maken maar omdat het niet aan zee ligt moet je altijd ergens entree betalen om bij het strand te komen. En de taxi hiervoor nemen.
