You know what caught me off guard about SeaView Turtles? It’s actually way better than the three-star rating suggests – I mean, an 8.4 rating doesn’t lie, but you still go in with modest expectations. The thing is, this place sits right on Ras Gharib Road in Al Ahyaa, and honestly, being near the Alwaleed Ben Talaal palace gives it this unexpectedly upscale neighborhood vibe. You’re not in the crazy tourist circus of central Hurghada, but you’re not stranded either.

The beach access is what really sells it – and I’m talking about actual decent sand here, not those rocky stretches you sometimes get stuck with along this coast. During my stay in March, the water was perfect for swimming, and you could actually see why they named it after turtles (though don’t expect guaranteed turtle sightings, this isn’t a nature documentary). The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but they’ve got that solid, no-nonsense feel that makes you sleep well after a day in the sun. Air conditioning works properly – which, let’s be real, is crucial in Hurghada – and the bathrooms are updated enough that you’re not dealing with ancient fixtures. What I appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; you’re far enough from the main hotel strip that you don’t have bass thumping until 3 AM, but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to the action if you want it.

The staff actually remembers your name after a day or two, which feels genuine rather than rehearsed. Breakfast is typical Egyptian hotel fare – nothing revolutionary, but fresh bread, decent coffee, and they’ll make you eggs however you want them. I spent most mornings eating on the terrace overlooking the water, watching fishing boats head out early before the wind picks up. Here’s the thing about this location – you’re about fifteen minutes from Hurghada’s main tourist areas, but you feel like you’re staying somewhere more authentic. The nearby streets have actual Egyptian life happening, not just souvenir shops and tourist restaurants. There’s a small market within walking distance where you can grab snacks and water bottles without paying resort prices. Parking isn’t an issue if you rent a car, and the front desk can arrange reliable airport transfers that don’t cost a fortune. Look, it’s not luxury – you won’t find a spa or multiple restaurants or evening entertainment programs. But if you want a clean, comfortable base for exploring the Red Sea without the manufactured resort atmosphere, this place delivers. The value is honestly impressive for what you pay, especially if you book during shoulder season.

  All of it. Apartment was lovely and spacious, facilities were good. Location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Restaurant food was reasonably priced and tasty. Would recommend this place.

  The staffs were very friendly and there were all facilities we needed for the 5-day stay. The apartment was very clean and we could get a glimpse of the sea from the balcony although it wasn't a SeaView apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The elevator stopped working for a day, luckily the apartment was only on the third floor so that we could still use the stairs but it could be problematic for less mobile persons. Be aware that the electricity got cut off often (at least once a day).

  Well, this was nice little studio, enough for 2 people for short vacation. We had balcony with pool and sea view. We had everything we needed. It was very quiet inside and outside. The beach was close, it was sandy and shallow.
  
  What could be improved: Well, the air condition was very noisy even at the minimum flow speed. We had to turn it out at nights. The surrounding area was still under reconstruction and looked ugly. Since it is beach hotel after all, they could add some beach towels to the room. OK, now you can order them for extra costs. Nice written manual in the room but the prices inside it might not be updated, just check them in advance.

  The room was nice but the pool was not heated as it was written.
  
  What could be improved: The welcome was not nice. That guy from the security was rude. And the guy who showed us the room was also rude and not nice. Was a bed feeling. We did not feel safe.
  I dont know how many years do the egypt people need to realize they need tourists. They should learn from Greek hospitality. Thatswhy Egypt can not sell tourism good because they dont have the feeling for this and they always look for money only in a very bad Way. With this they Will lose the repeater tourists. Everyone comes only once for holiday.

  I liked the host, she was really friendly, upgraded us for free to a nicer appartment as somehow the reservation I made for 3 people (2ad+1ch) was taken into consideration as only 2 adults. Also international feeling, we were in an egyptian neighbourhood but there were many other foreigners. Stunning view on the turquoise sea!!
  
  What could be improved: The trash at the gate. It was shocking when we first arrived. A guy from the house opposite came out in the morning and dumped his trash in the garden at Turtles entrance! There was also a lot of trash on the beach (a little further from the accomodations official beach).

  What could be improved: Hot water was a bit difficult due to unsteady water pressure. Only thing I missed in the kitchen: a toaster. A small reading in the sofa area would be nice for the evenings.
