What really got me was how functional everything felt. The studio’s got this lived-in quality – not fancy, but someone clearly thought about how people actually use a space. The kitchenette isn’t just for show; you can legitimately cook a meal, which is huge when you’re staying longer than a few days and getting tired of hotel food. The bed’s comfortable enough that I wasn’t counting down the hours until morning, and honestly, the air conditioning works better than half the five-star places I’ve stayed at in Egypt. You know what I appreciated most though? The quiet. Sheraton Road can get busy during the day with all the resort traffic, but once you’re inside the compound, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The only sounds are the gentle hum of ACs and maybe some distant music from the resort areas – nothing that’ll keep you up at night.

The location is actually pretty smart if you think about it. You’re close enough to walk to the main hotel strip when you want that resort vibe, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant crowds and inflated prices. There’s a decent little market about five minutes down the road where locals shop – that’s where you’ll find actual Egyptian prices for water and snacks, not tourist markup. The host was responsive when I had questions, and check-in was refreshingly simple – none of that formal hotel desk drama. For what you’re paying, especially with that 8.8 rating from other guests, it’s honestly hard to find fault. I mean, it’s not luxury, but it’s genuine and comfortable, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you just want a clean, quiet place to crash between diving trips or beach days.
